What is Nomad Scores?

Nomad Scores is a free, searchable database for comparing digital nomad visas across 59 countries. We structure and organize official visa information so remote workers can quickly find and compare requirements — income thresholds, stay durations, tax implications, family eligibility, and more — all in one place.

Why We Built This

The digital nomad visa landscape has exploded since 2020, with 50+ countries now offering programs. But the information is scattered across government websites, blog posts, and outdated guides. We built this to be the most organized, up-to-date, and freely accessible visa comparison tool for the global remote work community.

Editorial Standards & Data Verification

Every country entry is cross-checked against official government immigration sources, with each page linking to its primary source and showing a “last verified” date. Living-quality inputs behind the Nomad Score come from established international datasets — UNDP (Human Development Index), UNODC (safety), WHO (healthcare coverage), and Ookla (internet speeds).

Data is reviewed and maintained by SHOYA KIHARA, and re-verified periodically (most recently July 2026). Where an official figure is ambiguous, we state the uncertainty rather than guess. If you spot something out of date, please tell us — corrections are made promptly.
